Thoughtful care goes beyond your pup’s box. Here’s how WUVO (“we,” “us” and “our”), based in Ontario, Canada, handles personal information when you visit wuvo.ca, shop with us, manage a subscription or contact our team.

What Comes Along for the Adventure

We collect information you provide, including:

  • Your name, email, delivery and billing addresses, and phone number if provided.

  • Order details, payment status, subscription history and account information.

  • Your pup’s name, birthday month, size, play style and treat or ingredient notes, linked to your order or account.

  • Messages, reviews, photos and other information you choose to share.

Our website also collects technical information, such as your IP address, browser, device and interactions with the store, through cookies and similar technologies.

Payment providers process your payment details. WUVO does not have access to your full payment-card number.

Why We Ask

We use this information to curate and deliver your box, process payments and renewals, manage your account, answer questions and resolve order issues.

We also use it to protect against fraud, understand and improve our store, meet legal obligations and send marketing where we have the required consent.

We limit collection to information reasonably needed for these purposes.

Your Choices Come First

We collect, use and share personal information with your consent, or where the law permits or requires it.

You can withdraw consent by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. We’ll explain any effect on your service—for example, we need a delivery address to send your box. Optional marketing consent is not required to make a purchase.

The Helpers Behind Your Box

We share relevant information with providers that help run WUVO, including Shopify, Appstle, payment processors, delivery partners and providers of email, support, analytics or advertising services we use.

They receive information for the services and purposes described here. Some providers, including Shopify and payment services, also process information under their own privacy policies.

We may also disclose information to meet legal requirements, protect rights or investigate fraud, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate privacy protections.

Shopify & Your Shopping Experience

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information about your visits and purchases.

When Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify uses information from interactions with WUVO, other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services, including fraud prevention, personalization and advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements.

Learn more in Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also visit Shopify’s Privacy Portal to explore your choices.

A Little About Cookies

Cookies help remember your cart, support checkout and keep the website working. Analytics and advertising technologies, when used, help us understand visits, measure campaigns and personalize content or ads.

We seek consent for optional tracking where required. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie-preference controls available on our website. Blocking essential cookies may affect shopping features.

Updates Without the Overload

We send promotional emails when we have consent permitted under Canada’s anti-spam rules.

You can unsubscribe using the link in our marketing emails or by emailing support@wuvo.ca. We’ll process your request promptly, within 10 business days.

You may still receive necessary messages about orders, payments, subscriptions or safety.

Where Information Lives

Our providers may store or process information outside your province or Canada, including in the United States. Information processed elsewhere may be accessible to authorities under that country’s laws.

We remain responsible for information under our control and use reasonable contractual and other safeguards when working with service providers.

Keeping It Safe—and Only as Long as Needed

We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to people who need information for their work. No online system is completely risk-free.

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including accounting, legal obligations and resolving disputes. We then securely delete or anonymize it, as appropriate.

We address privacy incidents and provide notifications where required by law.

Your Information, Your Voice

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, how we use or share it, and request access or corrections. You can also request deletion or withdraw consent, subject to applicable legal limits and recordkeeping requirements.

Email support@wuvo.ca. We may verify your identity before acting. We’ll respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any restrictions or permitted extensions.

A Note About Little Humans

WUVO is intended for adult shoppers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.
